What to Expect on Your First Visit

How to Prepare

Arrive well-hydrated to get the most out of the sauna and plunge. Please bring a swimsuit for the water and heat zones, and comfortable athletic wear if you plan on using the dry recovery tools.

Quick Orientation

We’ll spend a few minutes at the start to understand your goals. We’ll give you a full tour, show you exactly how to operate the equipment, and help you "stack" the right modalities for your session.

Lab Amenities

We have everything you need to transition back to your day. Our facility includes private lockers, fresh towels, dedicated changing rooms, and high-flow water bottle filling stations to keep you hydrated.

Your Recovery Time

Once you're in, the Lab is yours to explore. You have full access to all recovery modalities with no strict time limits. Most guests find that 60–90 minutes is the "sweet spot" for a full first-time experience.

The Post-Session Reset

Expect to leave feeling "recalibrated." Whether it’s the mental clarity from the cold or the physical lightness from the massage chairs, most people feel the peak effects about 30 minutes after they finish.

No-Pressure Exploration

Our goal is to help you find a routine that works. After your session, we can chat about our membership options, but there’s never any pressure—we want you to experience the results for yourself first.

Do I need an appointment?

We do take walk-ins but recommend scheduling your first visit so we know you are coming and are prepared to help you get the most out of your visit. If you would like to use the Hyperbaric Chamber please call ahead and schedule it. We allow first time guests to schedule the HBOT once, otherwise only members can schedule it. If you do not have it scheduled but it is available you can still use it, just make sure to speak with our staff.

Yes. In fact, we encourage it. Our space is designed for you to “stack” different therapies—like Heat, Cold, and Compression—to get the best results for your body.

Don’t worry. Our team is always on the floor to help. If you forget how to start a massage chair or want a tip on using the sauna scrapers, just ask.

It is a “Choose your own Adventure” and there is not always a best sequence, however based on your goals our team can make some recommendations for you.

Your First Steps at Kuul

When you arrive at KUUL, one of our expert Recovery Coaches will greet you and guide you through a quick tour of the space. They’ll take time to understand your goals—whether it's optimizing athletic performance, reducing stress, or enhancing overall well-being—and recommend a personalized recovery plan tailored to your needs. You'll gain confidence in how each modality works, ensuring you get the most from your session.

Once your tour and personalized planning are complete, the space is entirely yours. We pride ourselves on offering Recovery without limits—you are free to use any and all of our 20+ modalities with no time limit on your session. You set the pace and control your recovery.

We gladly welcome walk-ins for first-time visits and tours, but we recommend scheduling your first session in advance so we can be fully prepared to give you the best experience possible.

After your first visit, you’re free to drop in anytime and create your own routine at your own pace. Recovery Coaches will always be nearby if you have questions or need guidance.

What to Wear/Bring

For optimal comfort, most members prefer athletic wear. If you plan to use our saunas or cold plunge, remember to bring a swimsuit (or clothing you're comfortable getting wet in). We also recommend a change of clothes if your session involves sweating or soaking. While optional, a water bottle and headphones can enhance your personal recovery experience. Rest assured, we've got the essentials covered: fresh towels, private showers, and lockers are all available on-site. Just arrive ready to reset and rejuvenate
